WCSA

The Western Convenience Stores Association(WCSA) was formed in response to a need for a stronger collective voice from industry players on issues such as employee and customer safety and security, tobacco and other local, regional and national concerns. The association represents the interests of convenience store owners and operators in the western provinces of B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. WCSA members represent approximately 75 per cent of all stores in Western Canada. The mission of this association is to proactively and aggressively represent the interests of convenience store owners in Western Canada.

Once you join a partnership with Winks, you will be a part of the Western Convenience Stores Association(WCSA). Approximately 75% of convenience store owners are part of this organization all over Western Canada.

Become a Winks member now

Criteria to become a Winks member:

  • You must operate a convenience store (with or without a gas bar).
  • You must have annual merchandise sales of approximately $500,000.00 or greater (not including fuel or lottery).
  • You must have a good credit history.
  • You must have retail sales space of approximately 1200 sq. feet or greater.
  • You must commit to a one-year agreement (with a 30-day out clause).
  • You are not allowed to be a member of any other association at the time of signing the ‘Winks agreement’.
